Other prominent groups include Thakali, Tamang, Magar, and Brahmin, whose culture, heritage, and lifestyle add richness to the journey. The Annapurna Circuit begins with a half-day drive from Kathmandu to Besisahar and a short walk to Bulbule. The trail continues through Chamje, Chame, Pisang, and Manang, where trekkers acclimatize due to the high altitude. From Manang, the trek moves through Yak Kharka and then the challenging ascent to Thorong Phedi via Thorong La Pass, offering spectacular views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri. After crossing Thorong La Pass, the trail descends to Muktinath, where trekkers can visit the sacred shrine, and continues to Jomsom. The journey passes Kagbeni, overlooking the Kali Gandaki River, and eventually leads to Tatopani, where trekkers can enjoy a hot spring bath. Key highlights include Ghorepani and Poon Hill, providing breathtaking sunrise views of Machhapuchhre and Gangapurna. Itinerary
- Day 1: Fly to Pokhara
- Day 2: Fly to Jomsom and trek to Kagbeni
- Day 3–8: Trek through Lo Manthang region
- Day 9: Explore Lo Manthang
- Day 10–13: Return trek to Jomsom
- Day 14: Fly back to Kathmandu
